AuditCore Feature

Your CI Register. Auto-Populated. Always Audit-Ready.

AuditCore automatically imports incidents, complaints, and internal audit findings into your Continuous Improvement Register — formatted exactly how auditors expect to see it.

What is CI Register?

The Continuous Improvement (CI) Register is a mandatory NDIS requirement under Standard 2 (Governance). It records what went wrong, what was learned, and what was improved. AuditCore auto-populates it from your incident log, complaint records, and internal audit findings — so it is always current without manual entry.

Why It Matters

Auditors consistently identify CI Register failures as a top finding. Most providers either don't have one, have one that isn't maintained, or have one that doesn't meet the required format. AuditCore eliminates all three problems by making CI Register maintenance automatic.

How AuditCore Helps

Every incident you close, every complaint you resolve, and every internal audit finding you address automatically creates a CI Register entry. AuditCore populates the required fields: date, source, description, action taken, responsible person, and outcome. Export to Excel for your auditor or board at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a Continuous Improvement Register mandatory for NDIS providers?

Yes. Standard 2 (Governance and Operational Management) requires all registered NDIS providers to maintain a quality management system that includes continuous improvement processes. Auditors will ask to see your CI Register and check that it is actively maintained.

What goes in a CI Register?

A CI Register records: the date of the improvement item, its source (incident, complaint, audit finding, staff feedback), a description of the issue, the action taken, the person responsible for the action, the target date, and the outcome. AuditCore auto-fills all of these from your existing records.

How often should the CI Register be updated?

The CI Register should be updated continuously — every time an incident is resolved, a complaint is closed, or an audit finding is addressed. AuditCore does this automatically, so your register is always current without any manual effort.

Can we share the CI Register with our board?

Yes. AuditCore generates a board-ready CI Register summary that can be exported to Excel and included in board reporting packs. This demonstrates to your board — and to auditors — that your governance system is functioning actively.
